Day 24: August 25, 2015: Reasons NOT to Vote CON #'s 576 to 600

582. Harper's latest "same old, same old" election lie is his Election 2015 election promise to strengthen the Canadian Armed Forces reserve program. At what point in life will Harper learn to scan his Promise File of all his old broken promises before promising the same old, same old promises AGAIN! On Monday, August 17, 2015, after years and years of budget cuts and neglect, Harper pledged to bolster the ranks of the country’s citizen soldiers. AGAIN! Harper PROMISED in 2008 that if Canadians re-elected him he would add 6,000 reservists to the military, bringing the total number of part-time soldiers to 30,000. General Andrew Leslie, retired, stated: "Harper's announcement of 30,000 reserves was originally promised in 2008. He did not deliver. Fact: The average daily reserve size in 2014 was 22,100. Conclusion: Mr. Harper is deceiving Canadians yet again." It seems like Harper should have listened to the advice of his old war buddy George W. Bush, who was an expert on fooling voters, “There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again.”

592. Harper EGO and ENTITLEMENT in a nutshell: he is taking hard-working Canadian Taxpayers' money to run a web site about HIMSELF and still FORCES Canadian Taxpayers to register to see it!

599. Harper sent out an E-mail to Canadians demanding a donation of $25 because the Press was attacking him. In truth at the time, it was Justin Trudeau coming under FULL ATTACK by the Press!
