Day 26: August 27, 2015: Reasons NOT to Vote CON #'s 626 to 650

630. Harper's CON MP Parm Gill has been charged by a Liberal supporter for apparent fraud for charging his credit card for a substantial donation without his knowledge; an action he thinks the RCMP should investigate. The amount charged by the CON party on his credit card was $400. Jagdish Singh, a long-time Liberal donor, lives in Brampton, Ontario which is in CON Gill's riding. For the past several years, Singh has donated $400 to former Liberal Scarborough—Agincourt MP Jim Karygiannis. He said he doesn't know Karygiannis and never met him. But a man named Harbhajan Singh (no relation), whom he met at a friend's house, asked Jagdish if he would donate — and being a Liberal since 1992 — he agreed. But a few days ago, Singh discovered his credit card had been used without his authorization to make a $400 donation to Gill's Conservative Brampton North riding association.

631. Harper hates teachers.

642. Harper made an Election 2015 Adoption Expense Tax Credit promise using a new CON poster composed with an image of ... NO KIDDING ... an American family! (They are models from Seattle.) This is typical of the CON sell out to foreigners! Even though the job was small, why did AMERICAN models and photographer get paid? Does Harper find Canadians THAT ugly? Canada has 35,000,000 people but the CONs apparently can't find 3 or 4 Canadians suitable enough to model for them for advertising purposes? So AMERICANS got paid to model for a CON ad. And an AMERICAN photographer got paid to do a CON ad! Are there no professional photographers in Ottawa, Ontario capable of doing a shot like this? What will be next? Will they use an Atlantic salmon to pose as a Pacific salmon? And these idiots run a country? Like, really!

646. Harper’s Director of Issues Management, Nick Koolsbergen, was caught by the Press in the hallways of the Ottawa courthouse dressed in a hooded sweatshirt and conversing with the PMO’s former Director of Issues Management Chris Woodcock during breaks in Woodcock’s testimony.Criminal defense lawyer Michael Spratt said it is fine for a witness to speak with other people while under cross-examination, but “any discussion about the evidence or the testimony (is) not only problematic, it could be an offence.”Conservative campaign staffer Christopher McFarlane was also spotted at the Duffy trial, assigned to keep tabs on testimony. Harper was asked at a campaign stop Wednesday whether Koolsbergen was told to “instruct” Woodcock.“Look, these are matters before the court and we don’t interfere in them,” Harper said.
