Day 41: September 11, 2015: Reasons NOT to Vote CON #'s 1081 to 1100

1081. Harper does not fill Canadians with wonder.

1082. Harper does not respect the value of First Nations cultures, heritages and languages and the justice of their land and self-government rights.

1083. Harper does not forge genuine relationships between Aboriginal peoples and other Canadians to fight against the attitudes that inspired the Indian residential schools system and perpetuated its racist norms.

1084. Harper does not act as if all communities, families and individuals deserve an equal opportunity to be strong and secure.

1085. Harper does not govern as if he has a duty of care and compassion to people who seek refuge from persecution and violence.

1086. Harper does not warn Canadians that global warming is a critical and urgent problem now verging on a catastrophe for the planet.

1087. Harper does not understand the necessity or value of truth telling and ethical conduct.

1088. Harper does not value nuance, respect for others, collaboration and cooperation.

1089. Harper does not foster free speech, open parliamentary and public debate or equal citizen access to justice and information.

1090. Harper does not make us proud of our country’s policies and actions or of our government’s commitment to public accountability.

1091. The Harper-controlled RCMP REFUSED to disclose where First Nations Women are most likely to be murdered!

1092. Harper's Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has been so following Harper's ridiculous command to audit charities, to look for political activity, they have dropped the REAL priority of recovering billions of dollars in taxes in the money Canada's 1% is hiding off-shore. On September 10, 2015, the CBC revealed the case of such money being laundered through the Isle of Man. The CRA has no idea how much is hidden there.

1093. Harper's Trans-B.C. pipeline was taken to Federal Court by the City of Vancouver! Congratulations to all residents of Vancouver: as payers of both Federal income taxes AND Vancouver taxes, you all had to pay all costs, (both sides), of this judgement!

1094. Harper’s dead-in-the-water CON 2015 election campaign has engaged the Australian political strategist Lynton Crosby as a campaign adviser – the man widely credited with helping David Cameron win a majority government in the U.K.

1095. Harper HYPOCRISY: he made an anti-Communism Speech AFTER selling out Alberta to Communist China for 31 Years!

1096. Harper has practiced a policy of out-of-sight, out-of-mind when it comes to First Nations infrastructure and school construction. Most First Nations students on reserves will return to crowded, sub standard facilities that lack any so-called frills. Some will go to portable classrooms which are the legacy of the department of Aboriginal Affairs.Years of under-funding and lapsing much needed resources has resulted in school infrastructure that would cause a revolution if it occurred in a major city.

1097. Harper lacks the compassion and leadership when it comes to the safety of Indigenous Women.

1098. Harper’s changes to environmental laws is at the heart of Election 2015 in the Yukon.Harper's controversial bill to change how environmental assessments are done in the Yukon has pushed First Nation voters to vote against the CONs. Bill S-6 amended the Yukon’s environmental assessment act and Nunavut’s surface waters act.

1099. Harper has long portrayed Canada as the country most open to refugees, relative to the size of the country's population. CBC reported that is a lie.

1100. Harper's racist Election 2015 team includes, Martin Barker, CON Candidate for Cowichan-Malahat-Langford, British Columbia who, when writing about First nations Truth and Reconciliation stated, like a true bigot, "Do you know what I might start doing? I think I might have a drink or two…" The reference is obvious.
