The Conflict of Interest Act requires that public office holders, such as Kosick, wait one year before they accept a job from any firm that they had dealings with while in government. Kosick did not, proving yet again, that . Day 39: September 9, 2015: Reasons NOT to Vote CON #'s 1051 to 1075

1051. Harper's CON MP Peter Kent falsely claimed PUBLICLY that a Syrian Freedom Fighter, trying to rid the world of terrorists, is a ISIS terrorist AND PUBLISHED HIS PICTURE! No wonder the rest of the world hates Canada: Harper has been bombing and carelessly killing innocent civilians and now his idiot MP is calling the good side terrorists!

1052. Harper's racist CON Riding Director for Bay of Quinte, Ontario, Sue MacDonell, was fired from its riding board because of her extreme racists comments describing ‘Indians’ as ‘self-loathing’. She also called Ashley Callingbull, the First Nations woman recently crowned Mrs. Universe as an “entitled liberal pet” and a “monster”. On a Facebook comment on her page she also wrote, “From an Indian??? LOL!!!! They’re allowed to break every law we have and bankrupt the country.”

1053. Two-faced Harper's tone-deaf response to the refugee crisis shows he is out of touch with who and what Canada is. He has forgotten that in Canada we are all migrants.

1054. Harper's CON party committed fraud in the 2006 Federal Election using a scheme that was commonly known as the "In and Out Campaign Financing Case". The CON Party was fined $52,000 for breaking election rules in a deal that saw charges dropped against four senior officials, but guilty pleas by the organizations for which they made the decisions. Under a deal accepted by Judge Celynne Dorval, the party and its fundraising arm, the Conservative Fund, pleaded guilty to Elections Act charges of incurring election expenses exceeding the maximum allowable and filing election records that didn't set out all expenses. More serious charges against the party and its fundraising arm of willfully breaking the laws were withdrawn. Charges against Senator Doug Finley, the party's former campaign director, and Senator Irving Gerstein, head of the Conservative Fund and chief fundraiser for the party, were withdrawn, as well as charges against Michael Donison, the former national party director, and Susan Kehoe, who served as the party's interim executive director. The prosecutor told the judge the new charges were still serious and asked for the maximum penalty of a $50,000 fine to the party — $25,000 per charge — and $2,000 to the Fund, $1,000 per charge. The judge agreed, saying the offences were "of a regulatory nature but significant to the democratic process," and accepted a defense request for 30 days to pay.

As Harper and Baird kept delivering speeches about how necessary the collateral damage of killing innocent people on the West bank was, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's approval rating among Israelis plunged from 82% to 38%!

1056. Harper's Department of Foreign Affairs sent out a warning on July 16, 2015 to all heads of foreign diplomatic missions in Canada to keep their noses out of Canada's 2015 Federal election.

For example: Skeed Borkowski and his wife built their lodge, and life, on Quesnel Lake. Then the Mount Polley dam burst. In a fortnight, he and his wife went from preparing for a deserved retirement into a limbo making their future uncertain.

1067. Harper's CON Senator Pierre-Hugues Boisvenu was ordered, by Parliamentary Committee, to take a course in contemporary management after TWICE renewing the contract of a staffer he was dating. Why didn't Harper order his resignation? AND, just like Duffy, apparently this CROOK charged Canadian Taxpayers $20,000 for travel to his "home" in Sherbrooke, Quebec while he actually stayed at his girlfriend's condo near Ottawa!

1068. Harper added Hollywood Star Leonardo DiCaprio to his Enemy List because the "Radical" spoke out about the destruction the Tar Sands is causing our planet!

1069. Harper HYPOCRISY: his CON web site lists Harper as an avid BOOK COLLECTOR. Harper has DESTROYED libraries and archives Nationwide!

1070. Harper HYPOCRISY: when he visited the Arctic in August, 2014, Harper saw an iceberg and proclaimed, "I've never been that close to a big chunk of ice. It's huge. That was great. Really exciting." Sadly, Harper didn't seem to relate that it was Climate Change he was witnessing first hand, melting and destroying the polar cap!

1071. Harper has NOT called an Inquiry into Missing First Nations' Women for political reasons: it would MUDDY his agenda.

1072. Harper APPEALED a court decision forcing him to pay Veterans benefits he had cut. Harper STILL wanted to screw Veterans out of their benefits, DESPITE a court ruling!

1073. Harper's Tar Sands are ENDANGERING the Rocky Mountain forests.

1074. Harper was SUED by the Nunavut Planning Commission for blocking Nunavut's efforts to create a land-use plan that would guide resource development in Nunavut.
